Silas
Silas is a dinosaur-loving, adventurous, happy 3-year-old who progresses every day. Nothing stops him from doing everything he wants to do!
Silas lights up every room he walks into and he will make sure to say “hi” to everyone he sees. He was diagnosed with spastic hemiplegic cerebral palsy when he was 1 1/2 years old. He started physical therapy when he was four months old, after his mom expressed concern at his four-month checkup with the pediatrician that Silas was still tightly fisting his left hand.
Physical therapists referred Silas to occupational therapy at six months and he saw a neurologist one month later. He continues to participate in PT and OT and makes great strides every day. He wears an AFO on his left foot and an SMO on his right. He is the sweetest, most hardworking, determined little boy. Nothing gets in his way! In addition to dinosaurs, he loves going to preschool, and exploring new places.
