Hi, my name is Sierra and I’m 28 years old. I live in San Diego, California. I have low to moderate Cerebral Palsy but that won’t let me stop becoming an independent woman!

I was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at age 3. When I was born, I had issues from not breathing properly to getting a feeding tube. I got my feeding tube removed when I was 6.

My cerebral palsy includes my hands, feet, voice, and eating abilities. I wear orthotics for my feet to help my feet get straight and to help me walk better. My fingers are double jointed which can be hard for me to do stuff with my hands. I do pretty good with my hands otherwise. My voice can also change range which at one point it may sound nasally to the other which it doesn’t and I have voice spasms. I also have feeding difficulties. I can eat regular food but I am very picky. I do have a specific diet that I follow though. Those are most of the reasons I have CP.

My hobbies include reading, writing, making videos for my YouTube channel, doing graphic art, and songwriting/singing!

I wish people knew about cerebral palsy is that we may have differences but we’re all the same! Just be kind and be yourself!
