Logan
My name is Logan. I am a happy 4 year old. I was diagnosed with quadraplegic CP when I was 18 months old.
I wish people could see how smart I am. I was diagnosed with quadraplegic CP in Houston, TX at TCH when I was 18 months old. I have a wheelchair that helps me go places, a gait trainer that allows me some independence, and a stander to help my legs get stronger.
I love books, and swimming. My dad has taught me everything about Pokémon. We play video games most days when he comes home from work. My favorite movie is “Rio” and my favorite cartoon “Puppy Dog Pals”. Sometimes I feel sad that I can’t do things other kids do at the park, but my parents help me to slide on the slides and swing.
I have six therapy sessions every week, and I go to school full-time. I have wonderful doctors who help my parents make the best decisions to treat me. I also have many people who love me and accept me just the way I am. I hope that one day there will be more adaptive fun places for kids with disabilities like me. When I grow up I want go to college, work, and be independent. I want to live life to the fullest.
