Hello, I'm Jwan (pronounced jo-wan) and I like to read!!!

I was 3 years old when I was first diagnosed with cerebral palsy. My speech, as well as many other skills, has been affected by it. I have a type of CP called spastic cerebral palsy, which affects one side of the body. In my case, it’s my right leg and right hand that are affected.

I wish others would understand how challenging it is living with cerebral palsy. There’s constant judging from others, which is the hardest to have to face. I also struggle to do basic tasks that everyone can do a lot faster, which is definitely the most challenging for me to this day.

I hope that someday some people will try to treat those with CP the same as they would treat any other person.
