I'm a nine-year-old boy from New Jersey. I was diagnosed with spastic dipelgia cerebral palsy when I was 13 months old. The doctors told my mom I would never walk, sit up independently, or maybe not even talk. I've worked so hard every day to beat those odds!

Despite what my doctors thought when I was diagnosed, I’ve overcome many challenges. I’ve had surgeries, many different therapies, and even spend time in a hyperbaric chamber! Today I’m playing flag football with my walker, learning how to hit baseballs standing independently, and my favorite — riding ATVs with my brothers. Recently, I even started my own foundation, Jake’s Got This” to help kids just like me learn what we’ve learned about CP and give them opportunities to try new things.
