I am 16 months old and was diagnosed with spastic quadriplegic CP. I was born premature at 28 weeks weighing only 2lbs 9oz. Everyday is a challenge as I am still developing new skills and some I am unable to do and I’m too young to understand why.

Every day is a challenge as I am still developing new skills and some I am unable to do and I’m too young to understand why. I was born with a brain bleed so my parents were told at during my NICU stay that I was at risk for CP. I was diagnosed when I was about 11 months old. This has definitely been a learning experience for my whole family as my journey evolves. I am able to stand (not on my own). I am able to walk with assistance in a gait trainer. My biggest thing is I am very determined to hopefully one day figure out things in my own way and be self-sufficient.
