Briella
Briella loves arts and crafts, reading, swimming, horseback riding, riding her adaptive trike, modeling, and playing with her friends.
At three and a half, Briella underwent Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy surgery to rid her legs of the spasticity that caused her trouble with walking and balance. With lots of hard work in physical therapy over the last three years, Briella has gained so much more mobility and confidence. She is able to use her walker for longer distances and is even able to take independent walks down to the mailbox.
She started talking and reading full sentences and is able to go up and down the stairs with support. While balance and mobility will be something she will have lifelong challenges with, she continues to take on any task with a smile. She is the shining example of the Never Give Up attitude while raising awareness for CP, inclusion, and disabilities.
