Bridget

I live in Scottsdale, AZ and work in retail. I graduated from ASU in May, 2021 and look forward to this next chapter in my life.

I have always known that cerebral palsy is a part of who I am, but it is definitely not the most important thing about who I am. I wish more people understood that I’m just a regular girl living my life, with all the same thoughts and desires and goals that everybody else has. Sometimes I wish people would just ignore my disability, but I’m not ashamed of it in any way. Sometimes it can be limiting, but I try to push through and face every challenge head-on. I’ve been told that I can be very stubborn, but I think that has helped me get through difficult times and experiences.
