I love going to concerts and loud rock music.

I am Bjørn, 20 years old and live in Køge, Denmark in Europe. 🙂 I was born in South Africa (my mom is from the UK but grew up in SA) and my dad is Danish. I was born at 29 weeks and suffered brain damage was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at 1 year old. I am nonverbal and use mostly body language to communicate. I have one older brother Connor who is 7 years older than me, and he is so cool – I love him. I live in a residence with other people with similar disabilities, and I’m taken care of 24/7 by carers who I really love. My parents decided to move us to Denmark when I was 4 as SA was not the best place for someone with my disability to have a good life. Now I’m here and I really love my life. My mom, dad and brother visit me often, especially mom (which can get annoying sometimes, and she worries about me a lot – but I know it’s because she loves me). I love to swim, go for walks, going to concerts and exhibitions and I love loud music, especially rock, and spending time with people – I’m very social. I wish people would realize that even though I am nonverbal, I understand everything that is going on around me.
