I am a surviving twin and was born weighing 1 lb., 12oz, and I have spastic diplegia.
I love to shop, volunteer, and encourage others to live their best life. I am an Ordained Minister, model, author and motivational speaker.
This week I was featured in National Magazine Gladys for around the ninth time as part of their “Where Are They Now” section. It was a hope and Inspirational issue.
I recently won the Impact Award for my work of going into schools and teaching students about a variety of disabilities. I also received an award for volunteering and ministry outreach.
My biggest challenge is for people to see past my disability. People will ignore me, look past me, or talk down to me. I try to teach others that despite any differences we may have, we are more alike than different.
